Politicians stand exposed of bankruptcy on literacy map:Bhim

Jammu, September 08 (Scoop News) – Panthers Party, Chairman, Prof. Bhim Singh and Member, NIC today expressed deep concern on the deliberate attempt of the ruling class and politicians to ignore the literacy movement in the country so that the politicians shall continue exploiting the wretched of the earth by using them as their vote banks.


Addressing the activists of the Panthers Party via video conference in Delhi, Hyderabad, Srinagar, Jammu, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Jaipur and other places on the Literacy Day organized by the state units of the Panthers Party its chief regretted that India has not crossed 70% target in the field of literacy with J&K having the lowest rate around 60%.
Prof. Bhim Singh that China has crossed 94% literacy rate whereas India does not stand among the first 50 countries of the world so far as literacy is rate is concerned. He said that this is appalling and shameful for the rulers of the largest democracy of the world.

Prof. Bhim Singh accused the respective governments in the states and the Centre for pursuing colonial policy they have inherited from the colonial masters to continue exploiting the wretched of the earth and keeping them away from literacy so that they could be cooked by the corrupt politicians as their fodder.
NPP Supremo made a strong appeal to Panthers workers to carry a pencil and a paper book to the people in the rural areas and engage voluntary local students with a mission of each one teach ten. He also appealed to the rural teachers to start voluntary literacy campaign in every village with a determination to spread 100% literacy in the rural area which is possible, he said.


Prof. Bhim Singh observed, "Without education and literacy in the villages democracy shall remain a dream alone."
