| 41 candidates of Ladakh selected by SSRB | | 
Jammu, March 15 (Scoop News) –Replying to a calling attention notice move by Aga Syed Rizvi and Nurboo Gialchan, Minister for Medical and Technical Education, Youth Services and Sports R. S. Chib said that the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board(J&KSSRB) is making the selections of eligible candidates for different categories of posts referred by various indenting departments against District/Division/State Cadres except the District cadres of Leh and Kargil for which the selections are made by the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LADHC).
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board(J&KSSRB) makes the selections purely on merit basis and whenever the short listed eligible candidates from Leh and Kargil make grade in the selection zone against the Divisional and State cadre posts they are selected as per the laid down norms and procedure.
Giving further details, the Minister said during the current year SSB has selected 16 Junior Engineers (Civil) from Leh and Kargil against the State Cadre post. Similarly, as many as 25 candidates from Leh and Kargil have been selected against various Divisional Kashmir Cadre post.
