Mimangs-Si-Sjabstogs: Administration at Your Doorstep Held at Chuchot Gongma

Leh, November 11 (Scoop News)-Under the “Mimangs-Si-Sjabstogs” (Administration at Your Doorstep) initiative, a public outreach camp was organized today at Government High School, Chuchot Gongma.
Nodal Officer Ruth Mary (AD, FCS & CA, Leh) welcomed the villagers and briefed them about the objectives and importance of the programme. A total of 26 officers and officials from various government departments participated in the camp. Officials from different departments shared information about government schemes, welfare programmes, and benefits available to the public. They also listened to the grievances and issues raised by the villagers.
Around 100 villagers from Chuchot Gongma and nearby areas participated in the camp. During the programme, villagers raised issues related to the Jal Jeevan Mission, irrigation, road improvement, land compensation, electricity, and other local concerns.
On-the-spot services such as Aadhaar generation, e-KYC updates, Golden Card, ABHA Card, ration card updates, and job card renewals were provided during the camp.
Mr. Kifayat, Manager, CRISIL Foundation also informed the villagers about the MoneyWise Centre for Financial Literacy (CFL) programme implemented by CRISIL Foundation with support from J&K Bank and SBI, under the aegis of the DEA Fund, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and FIF NABARD in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
He also explained the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) and discussed KCC loan KYC upload and unclaimed deposits under the DEA Fund of RBI.
Nodal Officer Ruth Mary assured the participants that all grievances and concerns would be forwarded to the concerned departments and the District Magistrate, Leh, for timely redressal. She also thanked the villagers for their active participation and expressed hope that such camps would help them avail the benefits of various government schemes.
The Mimangs-Si-Sjabstogs initiative aims to cover all villages of District Leh within the next 15 days.
