Police conducts extensive Naka checking in Ganderbal
Srinagar, November 11 (Scoop News)-In a significant security initiative aimed at strengthening law and order, Police in Ganderbal conducted extensive surprise naka checking at 50 strategic locations across the district.

Temporary checkpoints were established at vital junctions and entry/exit points to monitor the movement of suspicious persons and vehicles. The operation, was carried out in a well-coordinated manner under the supervision of senior police officers.

During the drive, a large number of vehicles were thoroughly checked, and several vehicles were seized for lacking valid documents. Police teams inspected vehicles for proper registration papers, licenses, and any transportation of contraband materials or suspicious items.

The primary objective of the checking was to curb illegal activities, ensure road safety, and enforce traffic and security regulations effectively. The surprise operation also aimed to create a deterrent effect against elements attempting to disrupt peace and public order. Senior officers personally supervised the checking at multiple naka points to ensure operational effectiveness and real-time coordination among all teams.

J&K Police appeals to the general public to cooperate during such security measures and extend their support in maintaining a peaceful and secure environment.
