| Authorities fail to control drug smuggling, its supply chain: Vipul Bali | |
Jammu, November 26 (Scoop News)-Apni Party Provincial President Jammu Youth Wing, Vipul Bali has demanded action against the drug smugglers and authorities for failing to control the menace in the society.
In his statement, Bali said that it was unfortunate that the law enforcement authorities including the administration and NGOs have failed to curb the spread of drug smuggling and addiction among the youth which has put the future of J&K on wrong direction.
He said that the LG must act strictly on the issue and direct authorities concerned to deal with such issues of drug smuggling and addiction strictly. He said that drug addiction has caused problems in families as many youth have become drug addicted and smuggling must be banned with the coordination of different wings.
“If a coordinated effort is put in, the smuggling of narcotics can be stopped and all the supply chain can be damaged effectively. However, it requires a collective effort,” he added.
He said that the youth in the border belt of Jammu have also lost their lives not only in Jammu City and it is a grave issue which needs to be addressed timely so that the future generation can be protected from the drug addiction which has harmed the society very adversely.
He demanded personal intervention of LG so that the development on the curb of the drug smuggling and supply chain can be monitored effectively
