923 vaccinated, 4456 samples collected in Ramban
Enforcement teams recover Rs 43,600 fine from violators
Ramban, January 18 (Scoop News)- As per District Immunization Officer, Ramban, Dr, Suresh the Health Department on Tuesday administered vaccination doses to 923 people including 405 children in 15-17 years age group which includes 170 in Medical Block Banihal, 46 in Batote, 40 in Ukhral and 149 in Gool.
Continuing the enforcement drive to implement Covid protocol across the district Ramban, the Enforcement teams today fined scores of violators for roaming without wearing face masks and not maintaining physical distance.
The enforcement teams, during the inspection in their respective jurisdictions, recovered a fine of Rs. 43,600 taking the total amount fined since April 1, 2021 to Rs. 82,53,900. The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest CVC.
As per daily bulletin issued by the Chief Medical Officer, Ramban, Dr. Mohammad Fareed Bhat, the Health Department has collected 4456 samples including 762 RT-PCR and 3694 RAT samples besides administering Covid vaccine to 923 persons at various dedicated Vaccination Centres in the district.
