ASSOCHAM hails Dy. CM’s statement of no Lockdown in Haryana

Chandigarh, April 15 (Scoop News)- \The Associated Chamber of Commerce of Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) – One of the leading Apex Chamber of the country today hailed the statement of Hon’ble Dy. CM. of Haryana Sh. Dushyant Chautala, that Haryana is not moving towards lockdown.
ASSOCHAM feels that lockdown may only lead to another economic slowdown which the country cannot afford at this point of time.

“The decision of imposing night curfew rather than moving towards lockdown is a well thought out statement, in which Dy. However, strict self-discipline of Sanitization, Mask & Social distancing is the need of the hour by public at large” said Mr Vijay Sharma, Chairman, ASSOCHAM Haryana State Development Council and Director, Jindal Stainless.
“Government is doing its job, now it is our duty to follow the Covid appropriate behaviour, which is the only way to avoid lockdown in the state,” he added.
“The industrial sector of the state has suffered a lot during the last lockdown, the statement of Mr. Chautala has relieved the Trade and Industries of Haryana, which are still trying to come out of the losses faced in last lockdown,” Mr Jyoti Prakash Gadia, Co - Chairman, ASSOCHAM Haryana State Development Council and Managing Director, Resurgent India Limited.
