| J&K moving towards new heights of development: Yudhvir | |
Kathua,March 04 (Scoop News)-With an objective to prepare a comprehensive roadmap for strengthen party at grass root level and to review the functioning, the senior leader of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), Yudhvir Sethi on Friday chaired a meeting of party workers and supporters.
The meeting was held in district Kathua, under the leadership of District President Raghunadan Singh, Seh Prabhari Kishmira Singh, Ex-MLA Kuldeep, Ex-OBC member Rashpal Verma, Organization Secretary Vishal, Chairman of Kathua and Lakhanpur units.
In the meeting, Sethi discussed various measures for the strengthening party at ground level. He asked party workers to gear up upcoming Assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir. He asked the workers to increase their contact with public and propagate the agenda of the BJP party and make them aware of the schemes started by the “Narendra Modi led central government”, for the welfare of the citizens.
Sethi further asked the people to strengthen the hands of the party so that the schemes of the government can be properly implemented and the benefit of the same can be made available to the last man standing in the queue. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured Assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir after the delimitation panel complete its exercise,” Yudhvir Sethi said citing reports of the tenure of Delimitation Panel extend for a period of one year. He asked party workers to spread the awareness among masses about people centric approach adopted Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“After the abrogation of Article 370, the Jammu and Kashmir is moving towards new heights of development,” he added. Post one year of abrogation of Article 370, Yudhvir said that several new development projects and social welfare schemes were launched. He asked party workers to launch intensified campaign for promoting the development initiatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi among people.
Raghunadan Singh said that BJP is committed to the overall development of UT and this can be gauged from the provision of funds for various developmental works in the state. He said for the equitable development of all the three regions of the J&K UT, Modi government has taken the initiatives and Governor Administration is implementing the same with dedication with a clear cut motto of providing development to the doorsteps of common masses.
The meeting was attended by party office bearers newly District Development Council (DDC) members, Mandal president and Pardhan of Morcha.
