Divisive politics has no place in J&K: Manjit Singh

Jammu, January 17 (Scoop News)-Apni Party Provincial President and Former Minister Manjit Singh today said that divisive politics has no place in Jammu and Kashmir and advocated brotherhood in the society.
“Apni Party believes that the people from all the communities should live in peace and everyone should have equal opportunity without disparity in every field. We are here for positive and constructive politics,” Manjit Singh said.
The Former Minister was speaking at a joining programme which was organized at the Apni Party Office at Gandhi Nagar.
On this occasion, a social activist and senior journalist Rizwan Khan Buraq alongwith a dozen youth including Tahir Mehmood Qureshi, Shafayat Ahmed Mirza, Nadeem Iqbal, Chowdhury Zariyet Ahmed, Rameez Iqbal, Safeer Ahmed, Asif Ali Bhatti, Mohd Azhar Mirza, Mohd Safeer Bhatti and others from Rajouri District joined Apni Party in presence of Manjit Singh and other Party leaders.
Welcoming them into the party folds, Provincial President, Manjit Singh said that the youth have pinned their hopes with the Apni Party due to its developmental centric policies.
“No other political party has come out for the youth of J&K. It was due to the efforts of Party President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari that the Govt granted onetime age relaxation in upper age limit for JKCCE,” he said.
He further said that the party also ensured that the Govt jobs are reserved only for the domiciles of J&K.
“The jobs were open for all India level excluding 4th class jobs prior to the efforts of the Apni Party President. The Party believes that the people of J&K should have the right to the Govt jobs and therefore, the efforts remained fruitful,” he said.
The Former Minister said that “We are fighting to get statehood back. The honour of Dogra State should be restored as early as possible and we are continuously fighting for it.”
He said that the party will leave no stone unturned in fulfilling the promises made with the people. Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included Media Coordinator Raqeeq Ahmed Khan, Gourav Kapoor and others.
