| DPAP will raise issues of the people of JK in the Parliament | |
Srinagar, May 03 (Scoop News)-Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) organised workers meet at Khansahab area of Budgam district. While speaking on the occasion Mr G M Saroori Vice President DPAP stressed upon the party cadres to work day and night and ensure maximum vote percentage infavour of party candidate Mr Aamir Bhat, he said if elected, will raise the issues of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and become their voice in the Parliament.
He said, since August 2019, J&K has been converted into an open-air prison after the illegal abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A. There has been an unending onslaught on our collective identity, land, jobs.
He said there is a need to raise our voice against this "onslaught" on the floor of the Parliament.
Mr Salman Nizami while addressing the workers said that thousands of youngsters continue languishing in jails in and outside J&K as undertrials.
He said if the DPAP candidates are elected to the Parliament, they will raise their voice on these issues on behalf of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Aamir Bhat DPAP candidate for 2-Srinagar parliamentary constituency requested for the voters to cast their votes in his favour. He assured that he will raise the issues of common people in the Parliament if elected. Mohammad Amin Bhat Provincial President DPAP Peer Bilal President Central Kashmir, Haleem Khan Secretary CK, Aqib Khanday, Gh Mohidin Bhat, Vijay Koul and other senior DPAP leaders also spoke on the occasion.
